About

I have been infected with the travel bug for as long as I can remember.  The idea of new places, different cultures, and the adventure waiting around the next corner only intensifies the urge to get out and navigate the planet.  The fact that I am a bit directionally challenged and often distracted by the heavenly smell of baked yummy goodness only makes getting where I “meant” to be going all the more fun.  At the end of the day I usually end up seeing something really cool that I wouldn’t have known existed and more likely than not have a really great story to go along with random path taken.

I was lucky enough to be able to integrate my professional life with my incredible love of diverse cultures; not involved in the travel industry at all.  I am director of biotechnology for an international animal health company…aka….science nerd whose butt is glued to an airplane seat.  I lived in the USA until two years ago when I relocated to Buenos Aires, Argentina for my job.

So….welcome to my “blog”….which is an intended semi-cohesive space to organize my travels, wanderings, visits to pastry heaven and perhaps the occasional airport story of less than stellar behavior.
